The right way to measure your suit size for getting a perfect look!

No matter how expensive a suit is, if it doesn't fit you properly, you would never ever get the look you want.Wearing right fitting suit can make you feel confident and change the way the world looks at you.
It is necessary to ensure that the suit you buy should provide you an elegant look.

There are certain factors necessary to measure your suit size in the right way:

1.Chest measurement:

By using the tape, measure the full chest just under arms and across the shoulder blades. The size of blazers matches the chest size.Your height will determine your suit size, i.e Short (S), Regular (R), or a Long (L) suit.
Generally, the chest measurement of a suit is 2 inches more than the suit size in order to make room for adequate movement. The waist size of a suit pant is 6'' less than that of the suit.
In case the jacket is bigger than the required size you can get it altered near the tailor.

2.Neck measurement:

Measure your full neck size with the tape by keeping the index finger between your neck and tape to make it a comfortable fit.

3.Sleeve/Arm measurement:

Keep your arms around the hip and bend the arms at an angle of 90 degrees. Then measure from the mid portion of your neck back till your shoulders and then down till the outside of the arms across the elbow till the wrist.

5.Waist measurement:

You can easily find your pant size by looking at one side of its waistband. If you are unable to find it, follow these steps:
a.Keeping a finger between the tape and your body, measure the waistline around your bellybutton. The pant size will be equal to the waist size.
For example38" waistline corresponds to a pant size of 38.

6.Inseam measurement:

After putting on the desired shoes,  measure from your crotch to your desired length you want for the pants. This measurement varies with style.

7.Finding the drop:

All suits have a drop which is the difference between the suit size and your pant size. You can find the drop by subtracting 6 or 7 inches from the over-arm measurement.
The general drop in the suits is about 6-7 inch.

You can feel the difference by wearing the right size suit along with matching accessories.
