Essential items you need to pack for a short business trip part 2

So when you start packing for a business trip, I suggest to first lay everything out on your bed or maybe on a carpet, in a clean space where you have a good overview.

Essential items you need for a short business trip, number 2:

Next up, I suggest bringing two to three dress shirts. Even if you are just going on a one day trip, there is always a chance that someone will spill something on you and it is much better to have something that you can change into than having to figure out where you can have it dry-cleaned. Plain white solid shirts, maybe cream or light blue, are perfect. You can also go with pastel such as light yellow, light green or light lavender. A proper business shirt usually does not have a chest pocket, because you should not use it anyways and you also want double cuffs or French cuffs for cufflinks. If you travel to a climate that is warmer, or you do not like cufflinks you can also get away with barrel cuffs. If you decide the undershirt is right for you, you should not go with the traditional white undershirts. Instead, you can get a t-shirt like undershirts that is fitted on your body, and it should be as close to your skin color as possible, so avoid white. A regular t-shirt is not a good substitute because it is thicker and it has thicker seams that you can see on the outside of the shirt.

Essential items you need for a short business trip, number 3: Overcoat

Something that you do not pack, but I suggest you always bring is a type of overcoat in the winter. Grey, blue or even a black one is good because these colors will match with pretty much everything.
