How To Wear, Match & Pair GREEN in Menswear part 2

This color can really help you to develop a signature style that stands out from the rest of the crowd who favors city grays and blues, and it should only be just one color in your outfit and your entire outfit should not be just green because that would look odd.

Green wardrobe element to invest in: Vests

The element you can invest in a vest. I have a vest that matches the suit which I can wear individually or in accordance with the suit. Dark bottle green vest in velvet which is double-breasted will keep you warm and will make you look different but in a good way. Bottle green velvet is also a really popular material for dinner jackets.

Green wardrobe element to invest in: Dress shirts

Another area where this color is hardly ever seen is dress shirts. A lighter shade shirt could be worn with a blue suit or even a gray suit, especially during the summer. If you get something darker like olive shade maybe with a pale white and ivory stripe, it is much better for winter.

Green wardrobe element to invest in: Shoes

You can also wear green shoes. Sometimes people go with a darker kind of green or an olive green. Both can be very versatile probably the olive shade is even more versatile than the regular green. I personally prefer suede because it underlines the more casual character of the color and a suede tassel loafer is really good for summer outfits. You can also think about getting a darker shade of this color maybe racing green boots for the winter. It would be very unusual maybe in a scotch shade. You can combine green with casual outfits, that you could not wear with a black shoe for example.

Green wardrobe element to invest in: Belts

If you wear belts, make sure you get a matching belt, that way you get a harmonious look and it is overall well rounded.
