I'm Dreaming of a Green St. Patrick's Day!

St. Patrick’s Day is on Friday but you can still figure out your green outfit now. But what if you don’t want to be decked out in a green suit or wear a tacky green hat? HDS has figured out some good accessories to wear while still staying in the holiday spirit.

Even if it's a little cheesy, these guys are in the St. Paddy's Day spirit! Even if it's a little cheesy, these guys are in the St. Paddy's Day spirit!

Socks and ties

In all honesty, these are a bit of a cop-out. However, these green accessories do get the job done in letting people know that you are in the holiday spirit. They can be subdued, with more muted green colors, or they can be a loud green apple shade, with shamrocks and leprechauns. These accessories don’t even have to be for St. Patrick’s Day. These could be green accessories you already have, so you don’t have to go out and buy new stuff just for the 17th.

Watches with green bands

A good watch is always a good accessory for any man to own. Why not have some fun with the watch you have and put on a green band on it instead of your usual band. Just find one that fits your watch and using your watch repair kit, swap it in for the day. It’s not as difficult as it sounds and it’s a classy way to show your St. Paddy’s pride!

Want to look like a leprechaun but don’t want to don the buckled shoes, felt hat, or rock a bright green suit? Why not try on some green suspenders? They are subtle but also festive and don’t have to show. Not only are they comfortable but they can be dressy, so why not wear them for St. Patrick’s Day!

Ditch the corny hats and themed glasses and be creative with your St. Patrick’s Day inspired wardrobe. Remember that the only requirement that you wear green. So don't sweat the green accessory with our suggestions and go out there and have (safe) fun!
