With a lot of places open for Thanksgiving, with many offering special Thanksgiving Day specials and Thanksgiving prix fixe menus, we compiled a list of places worth visiting if you find yourself flying solo or just don’t feel like cooking this year.

The Dutch

The Dutch offers a traditional three course meal, including roasted turkey wrapped in bacon, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, and cornbread stuffing with orange cranberry sauce on the side. For those who don’t eat meat but still want to celebrate the day of gratitude, Candle 79 is the perfect place to go to. They offer a prix fixe menu that comes with four meals of fresh vegan food. For an added price, you can add a wine pairing with your meal. The food offerings are delicious, so just because you aren’t having turkey doesn’t mean you won’t have a meal to remember.

The four course meal comes at $80, $115 with the wine pairing.

Red Rooster

Red Rooster is known throughout all of Harlem for it’s exquisite comfort food. During Thanksgiving, there is a prix fixe menu that includes fan favorites like their cornbread, buttermilk mashed potatoes, collard greens, and brussel sprouts. Their roasted turkey is also very succulent-- you’ll eat all of it to the bone! The meal ends on a warm and flaky bourbon pumpkin pie.

Freeman’s is a Lower East Side staple, with a nice cozy feel that sets the tone just right for a homey Thanksgiving. They offer a great four course meal that includes warm lentil, crispy pork belly, and sourdough stuffed turkey with giblet gravy. Top things off with your choice of apple, sweet potato, or pecan pie!
