National Cheeseburger Day: Our Favorite Bites

Cheeseburgers: an American staple. For this Sunday, National Cheeseburger Day, national Cheeseburger daywe are honoring this traditional food with a list of our favorite affordable burger places. While the cheeseburgers on this list are not gourmet specialties, they are delicious nonetheless. Here are some spots to get your lunch on Sunday (or any day, really).

Shake Shack

A tourist favorite, as well as a local one. It's an inexpensive, fast-food cheeseburger that doesn't taste like a fast-food cheeseburger. Now that Shake Shack is cropping up throughout the city, you don't have to walk too far to get some lunch. This chain rivals the West Coast's famous In-N-Out burgers... we don't need them anyway!

Paul's Da Burger Joint

This place is straight out of the 1950's. To put it perfectly, one Yelp reviewer wrote, "I've gotten bored with cheffy burgers with tomato jam on brioche buns and this was a refreshing departure-- a quintessential greasy spoon American burger." And the cheeseburgers are real big, so you're going to need a lot of napkins.

Hard Times Sundaesnational Cheeseburger day

Don't get confused -- despite having "sundaes" in the name, this is a great
cheeseburger truck. The food is inexpensive
and very delicious. You can catch this truck in Brooklyn, and now in Manhattan as well. Both the double and triple
burgers are less than $10.

Look, we know Mickey D's isn't the most glamorous place. But it is certainly enjoyable from time to time, and the prices are unbeatable. We at Hundred Dollar Suits also admit to using the McDonald's app, so we can get coupons and save on our cheeseburgers. Everyone loves a good deal!

Hungry yet? Because we are. No matter where you are in NYC, you're guaranteed to find a good burger. With these four different burger places you can celebrate National Cheeseburger Day every single day of the week!
